Wishlist: April 2013

Hello, world.

My wishlist for the month will feature pieces from Chi Chi.

Chi Chi is a retailer that is based in London. They specialize in special occasion dresses at affordable prices.

Prom is around the corner, and Chi Chi is the perfect place to check out if youre in the market for a prom dress that is high street instead of tacky.

In lieu of this Chi Chi feature, my April wishlist will comprise one piece from each category: bandage dresses, cocktail dresses, day dresses, evening gowns, party dresses, and prom dresses.

This is the Eldora Dress from the Bandage Dresses category. It is a simple black mini dress with a bandage design. When I think of the bandage design, I usually think about mini skirts, but put that concept on a dress, and you have the perfect girls-night-out outfit that doesnt make you look skanky.
This is the Palma Dress from the Cocktail Dresses category. This is a dress that is perfect for a formal event without the risk of looking like a spoiled brat. The design is reminiscent of any other cocktail dress, but the short flare skirt gives the dress a youthful look.
This is the Ricarda Dress from the Day Dresses category. I am absolutely in love with this dress! It is constructed out of the four latest trends: hi-lo, colorblock, sheer fabric, and bralette top. This can be such a versatile dress too; pair it with nude pumps for a more formal affair, or throw on a brown moto jacket with some nude lace-up booties for everyday wear.
This is the Beatrisa Dress from the Evening Gowns category. Yes, the hi-lo is one of the reasons that this is on my wishlist. Usually, hi-lo skirts start above the ankles, and that can end up making your legs look short and stumpy. This dress, though, starts above the knee, so a pair of dark shoes will minimize that risk. This is also such a classy looking cocktail dress!
This is the Gabriella Dress from the Party Dresses category. When it comes to party dresses, I like a simple LBD that has a single striking element to it; in this case, the gold diagonal stripes.
This is the Alda Dress from the Prom Dresses category. Girls, when youre looking for a prom dress, please dont be the one dressed in a skanky strapless mini dress that extends to just below your ass. Prom is a school event, so please keep it classy. This is an example of a gorgeous prom dress that will turn heads in a good way! It is something that I wouldve worn to my prom if I had seen this four years ago, LOL.
Chi Chi is having a sale right now, so if any of these dresses caught your attention, now is the best time to buy them! If not, you can still browse their wide selection of dresses up to 75% off!
